We are serious about security and your trust
At Aftefect, the security of our application and your data is a top priority. We use industry best practices and cutting-edge bank-level security configurations to establish and maintain a secure online experience. And we always remember that your data is your data. Your data is fully encrypted and protected with the latest and highest-grade industry-leading technology. Not even our own staff has access or the key to decrypt your data. The only information that the Afterfect staff has access to is your name and email address. This information helps us to recover lost accounts.
As with any system, the security of your account depends on you. To prevent weak passwords, we have a strong password enforcement in place. Be sure to choose a strong password with a mixture of numbers, capital letters, and non-alphanumeric (For example: !, $, #, or %) for maximum security. Afterfect also uses a strong password system that combines hasing and salting algorithms to further secure your account. We can't protect your account if you share your password with others. Please take caution on how you store your account information or who you share it with. We highly recommend not providing your account information to anyone.
Secured Connection
When you log into Afterfect, all your communications are forced over a 256 bit SSL connection (SSL is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral). This type of secure connection is comparable to the online security provided by many major banks and financial institutions. You can verify that you are indeed connected to Afterfect via a secure connection. When you're logged in, your browser bar will display either a green bar or a lock icon near the web address.
Software Security
Your information is protected by software at several different levels. There are constantly tested and updated firewall and operating system software programs in place on our servers.
Our security is regularly and thoroughly tested by external software security experts who make recommendations for new methods we could use to increase the security around your data. After each review, our team examines and implements any required changes.
Secure Data Centers
Afterfect data is stored on the WiredTree Data Centers. WiredTree provides an exclusive and unique ServerShield service that greatly increasing the security of their servers and data from intrusion.
